Alexander Sack: Enhancing the brain
A brain exploration through manipulation
Although cognitive neuroscience has yielded increasing insight into the mechanisms underlying attention and working memory, the challenge remains to translate these insights into applications permitting boosting these functions. At the Maastricht Brain Imaging Centre psychologist and cognitive neuroscientist Alexander Sack leads the Vision, Awareness and Cognition lab. The centre provides cutting edge brain imaging techniques which are used to explore the functioning and plasticity of the human brain.
