Towards a better treatment

In the Netherlands a thousand people per year get Crohn’s disease. It’s a chronic and painful inflammation of the intestines. Gijs van den Brink, gastrointestinal physician at the Academic Medical Centre, looks for ways to slow down this incurable disease. An effective treatment would be a crown on his work.
